Northrop Grumman Ship Systems Reduces Weld Repairs with Walhonde Pipefitter™

John Whittington, Sector Trade Manager of Pipe Shop with Northrop Grumman Ship Systems at Avondale, Louisiana, stated that the recently completed Polar Hydraulic Pipe Project had been a success. The company was able to reduce the number of weld repairs from 28% to 4% and our pipe clamp, the Walhonde Pipefitter™, was instrumental in this substantial quality control improvement.
